‖ hibachi|ˈhibatʃi, hɪˈbɑːtʃɪ| Also formerly hebachi. [Jap. hibachi, hi-hachi, f. hi fire + hachi bowl, pot.] A large earthenware pan or brazier in which charcoal is burnt esp. in order to warm the hands or heat a room.
