heteroousian, heterousian, a. and n. Theol.|ˌhɛtərəʊˈaʊsɪən, hɛtəˈraʊsɪən, -ˈuːsɪən| Also 9 heterusian. [f. Gr. ἑτεροούσιος, ἑτερούσιος, f. ἑτερο- hetero- + οὐσία essence, substance. Opp. to homoousian and homoiousian.] A. adj. Of different essence or substance.
