heptagon|ˈhɛptəgən| [ad. Gr. ἑπτάγωνον, neut. of ἑπτάγωνος seven-cornered. Cf. F. heptagone (1542 in Hatz.-Darm.).] 1. Geom. A plane figure having seven angles and seven sides.
