haurient, a. Her.|ˈhɔːrɪənt| Also 6–7 hariant, 7–9 hauriant (erron. 6 eirant). [ad. L. haurient-em, pr. pple. of haurīre to draw (water, etc.).] Of a fish borne as a charge: Placed palewise or upright with the head in chief, as if raising it above the water to draw in the air.
