alexithymic, a. and n. Psychol.|eɪlɛksɪˈθaɪmɪk| [f. a- 14 +Gr. λέξις speech + θῡµ-ός soul + -ic.] A. adj. Displaying or characterized by an inability to recognize and express emotions. B. n. An alexithymic person.
