Haitian, a. and n.|ˈheɪtɪən, ˈhaɪtɪən, -ʃən| Also 9 Haytian. [f. Haiti + -an.] A. adj. Of or pertaining to the island of Haiti or Hispaniola in the West Indies, or to the Republic of Haiti situated in the western part of that island. B. n. A native or inhabitant of Haiti, or of the Republic of Haiti.
