Gurkha|ˈgʊəkə| Also Ghoorka, Ghorkha, Ghurka, Goork(h)a. A member of one of the dominant races of Nepal, of Hindu descent and Sanskritic speech, and especially famous for prowess in fighting. Also attrib.
