Grévy's zebra|ˈgreɪvɪz ˈziːbrə, ˈzɛbrə| [tr. of Equus grevyi (A. Milne-Edwards 1882, in La Nature 3 June 13/1), f. the name of F. P. J. Grévy (1807–91), president of the French Republic.] A member of a species of zebra, Equus grevyi, found in southern Ethiopia and Somalia.
