greenery-yallery, a. colloq.|ˈgriːnərɪ ˈjælərɪ| [f. green a. + yaller, vulgar pronunc. of yellow a., with ending -ery repeated to produce a jingling compound.] Of, pertaining to, or affecting the colours green and yellow, in accordance with the style or fashion of the aesthetic movement of the late nineteenth century; hence, typical of this movement; affected.
