goy|gɔɪ| Pl. goyim |ˈgɔɪjɪm|, goys. Fem. ˈgoyah. [Heb. gōy people, nation, pl. gōyim.] A Jewish designation of a non-Jew, a Gentile. Hence ˈgoyish (also goyisch, etc.) a., resembling, in the manner of, having the characteristics of, a goy. Quot. 1835 may not belong here.
