Goethian, a. and n.|ˈgœtɪən| Also Goethean. [f. the name of the German poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (1749–1832) + -ian.] A. adj. Of, pertaining to, or characteristic of Goethe, his writings, opinions, etc.
