Umbro-|ˈʌmbrəʊ| comb. form, on Gr. models, of L. Umbr-, Umber (see Umbrian), occurring in a few terms, as Umbro-Etruscan, Umbro-Latin, Umbro-Oscan, Umbro-Roman, Umbro-Sabellian, Umbro-Samnite. Also, with reference to the Umbrian school of painting, Umbro-Florentine, Umbro-Siennese (1866).
