▪ I. umbilicate, a.|ʌmˈbɪlɪkət| [ad. L. umbilīcāt-us, f. umbilīcus umbilicus. Cf. It. umbilicato, ombelicato, F. ombiliqué.] Resembling a navel; having a depression like the navel.
