umbellate, a.|ˈʌmbɛlət| [ad. mod.L. umbellāt-us, f. L. umbella parasol, umbella: see -ate2. So Sw. umbellat, F. ombellé.] 1. Bot. a. Of flowers: Forming, arranged in, an umbel or umbels.
