glomery Obs. exc. Hist.|ˈglɒmərɪ| [ad. med.L. glomeria, prob. ad. AF. *glomerie = *gramarie grammar; for the form cf. glamour.] Master of Glomery (= L. Magister Glomeriæ), the title of an official formerly recognized by the University of Cambridge, apparently the head of the grammar-school or schools (see quot. 1873). (Cf. glomerel.)
