Giottesque, a. and n.|dʒɒˈtɛsk| [f. Giotto + -esque.] A. adj. Resembling the style of the Tuscan painter Giotto (13–14th c.). B. n. The style founded by Giotto; also, an artist belonging to the school, or imitating the style, of Giotto.
