Tupinamba (tuːpɪˈnæmbə, prop. tupinamˈbaː) Also † Tupinambo. [Native name; cf. F. Topinambou (1578 in form Tououpinambaoults) and Tupi.] A group of extinct tribes on the coast of Brazil; a person belonging to one of these tribes. Also attrib.
