Tsukahara, n. Gymnastics.|ˌtsʊkəˈhɑːrə, ˌsuːkə-| [The name of Mitsuo Tsukahara (b. 1947), Japanese gymnast, who introduced the vault in international competition in 1970.] A vault consisting of a quarter- or half-turn on to the horse, followed by one and a half somersaults off. Also attrib.
