troppo, a. Austral. slang.|ˈtrɒpəʊ| [f. tropic n. and a.1 + -o2.] Mentally ill through spending too much time (orig. on war service) in the tropics; (hence simply) crazy, mad. Esp. in phr. to go troppo.
