1857Dunglison Med. Lex., Trochin... Chaussier has given this name to the smaller of the tuberosities at the upper extremity of the os humeri; because it gives attachment to one of the rotator muscles of the arm,—the subscapularis. Trochinian, that which belongs or relates to the trochin. |
