trilocular, a. Nat. Hist.|traɪˈlɒkjʊlə(r)| [f. tri- + L. locul-us small receptacle, dim. of locus place + -ar1.] Having three cells or compartments, as the capsule of a plant, or the heart of a reptile. Also triˈloculate a. (Cent. Dict. 1891).
