fucidin Pharm.|ˈfjuːsɪdɪn| Also Fucidine (proprietary name). [Formed by alteration of fusidic a. + -ine5.] The sodium salt of fusidic acid, used as an oral antibiotic esp. against staphylococci. Also used loosely for fusidic acid.
