‖ Trichomanes Bot.|trɪˈkɒməniːz| [L. (Pliny), a. Gr. τριχοµανές a kind of fern (cf. τριχοµανία a mania or passion for long hair).] A genus of ferns, having filamentous outgrowths from the margins of the fronds; the bristle-ferns.
