Trentine, a.|ˈtrɛntaɪn| [f. Trent (see def.) + -ine1.] Belonging to Trent, a city of the Tyrol; spec. pertaining to the Council of Trent (1542–52, 1562–3): = Tridentine. So † ˈTrentish a. in same sense; † ˈTrentist, an adherent of the doctrines of the Council of Trent.
