† transˈpare, v. Obs. rare. [f. after transparent; cf. med.L. transpārē-re, f. trans, trans- 1 + pārēre to appear, show oneself; It. transparere (Florio, 1598).] intr. a. To be or become transparent. b. To appear or be visible through a transparent medium.
