Tournaisian, a. Geol.|tʊəˈneɪzɪən| [ad. Fr. tournaisien of Tournai: see prec., -ian.] Of, pertaining to, or designating the lower of the two divisions of the Lower Carboniferous (Dinantian) in Europe. Also absol.
