Tlingit, n. and a.|ˈklɪŋkɪt, ˈklɪŋgɪt; also, incorrectly, tl-| Also Thlinget, Thlinkeet, Tlinget, Tlinkit, etc. [a. Tlingit tłingít, ˈtłingít person, Tlingit.] A. n. a. (A member of) an Indian people of the coasts and islands of south-eastern Alaska. b. The language spoken by this people.
