‖ fedayeen, n. pl.|fɛdaˈjiːn| Also -yin. [Colloq. Arab. fidā'iyīn, pl. of Class. Arab. fidā'ī one who undertakes perilous adventures.] Arab guerrillas operating against the Israelis.
