therˈmantic, a. (n.) Med. Now rare or Obs. [ad. Gr. θερµαντικός, f. θερµαίνειν to heat. Cf. F. thermantique (15th c. in Hatz.-Darm.).] That promotes warmth; heating, calefacient.
