euphemize, v.|ˈjuːfɪmaɪz| [ad. Gr. εὐϕηµίζειν to speak fair, use auspicious words, f. εὔϕηµος: see euphemious.] a. trans. To express by a euphemism; to speak of euphemistically. b. intr. To speak euphemistically; to make use of euphemisms.
