teterrimous, a. rare.|tɪˈtɛrɪməs| [f. L. tēterrimus most foul, superl. of tæter (tēter) foul + -ous.] In phrase teterrimous cause, after L. teterrima belli causa ‘the most foul cause of war’, i.e. woman (Horace Sat. i. iii. 107).
