ethosuximide, n. Pharm.|eθəʊˈsʌksɪmaɪd| [f. eth- + -o1 + suximide (phonetically altered and shortened form of succinimide n.).] An anticonvulsant drug, 3,3-ethylsuccinimide, C7H11NO2 , which is given orally to suppress petit mal and other seizures.
