teratology|tɛrəˈtɒlədʒɪ| [f. Gr. τέρας, τερατ- a marvel, prodigy, monster + -logy. So F. tératologie (Littré).] 1. A discourse or narrative concerning prodigies; a marvellous tale, or collection of such tales.
