terap|təˈræp| Also tarap. [a. Malay.] An evergreen tree, Artocarpus elasticus, of the family Moraceæ, native to Malaysia and closely related to the bread-fruit tree, also, the large edible fruit of this tree or its fibrous bark, which is used to make string or cloth. Also attrib.
