Erlenmeyer flask, n. Chem.|ˈɜːlənmaɪə(r)| [The name of Richard August Carl Emil Erlenmeyer (1825–1909), German chemist.] A flat-bottomed conical glass flask, having a narrow opening at the top so that its contents may be shaken with little risk of spillage.
