† admoˈnitioner Obs. Also admonishioner in Hales. [f. admonition + -er1.] One who gives admonitions; a monitor. spec. in pl. The Puritans who in 1571 presented an ‘admonition’ to Parliament, condemning the ceremonies of the Church of England.
