‖ teesoo E. Ind.|ˈtiːsuː| Also tesu, tesoo, teeso, tisso. [Hindī, etc. tēsū.] The brilliant orange-red flowers of the dhak or palas of India (Butea frondosa and B. superba), or the yellow dye obtained from these. Also attrib., as teesoo-flower.
