tectiform, a. Zool.|ˈtɛktɪfɔːm| [ad. mod.L. tectiform-is, f. tect-um roof: see -form.] 1. a. Roof-shaped; sloping downwards on each side from a central ridge. b. Serving as a covering or lid.
