entozoon Zool.|ɛntəʊˈzəʊən| [mod. f. ento- + ζῷον animal.] A parasitic animal that lives within another. Also attrib. In pl. Entoˈzoa, a class of animals taking their name from their mode of existence, though, as regards structure, they belong to various classes.
