Eno Pharm.|ˈiːnəʊ| [The name of J. C. Eno (c 1828–1915), English pharmacist, who first sold it.] A proprietary name for a laxative and antacid containing sodium bicarbonate, tartaric acid, and citric acid. Also Eno's (Fruit Salt) (also proprietary).
