tangelo|ˈtændʒələʊ| [f. tangerine n. 2 a + pomelo.] A hybrid citrus fruit resembling a thick-skinned orange, produced by crossing the tangerine, Citrus reticulata, and the pomelo, C. grandis; also, the tree bearing this fruit.
