elydoric, a.|ɛlɪˈdɔərɪk| [ad. F. éludorique, badly f. Gr. ἔλαιον oil + ὕδωρ water.] The distinctive epithet of a mode of painting invented by Vincent, of Montpetit, in which both oil and water were used.
