adductive, a.|əˈdʌktɪv| [f. L. addūct- ppl. stem of addūc-ĕre + -ive, as if ad. L. *addūctīvus: see adduce.] Tending to lead towards, bringing to something else. Formerly applied spec. to the change said to be wrought in transubstantiation.
