The name of Konstantin Raudive (1909–74), Latvian psychologist, used attrib. in connection with a phenomenon involving tape recordings of sounds said to represent voices of paranormal origin.
1971Psychic News 20 Mar. 8/6 The Raudive story appears to have started when a Swede, Frederick Jurgenson wrote a book in 1969 describing how when he was in the woods recording birdsong, faint voices appeared on his tape.
