‖ rauchwacke Geol.|ˈraʊxvakə| [G., f. rauch smoke + wacke: cf. grau-, greywacke.] A dolomitic limestone of the upper Permian or Zechstein group in Germany, corresponding to the Magnesian Limestone formation in England.
