Belonging to the order Synanthereæ, a synonym of Compositæ, having the anthers united; syngenesious. Also synantherous |-ˈnænθərəs| a.; so synantheˈrology [-logy], the study of the Compositæ; whence synantheroˈlogical a., pertaining to synantherology; synantheˈrologist, one who studies or treats of the Compositæ.
