▪ I. † ˈeching, vbl. n. Obs. [f. eche v. + -ing1.] The action of increasing, enlarging, supplementing; concr. an addition.

York (1830) 34 Item for mending and eching of iiij. hopys to the said whelys ijd. ▪ II. † ˈeching, ppl. a. Obs. [f. eche v. + -ing2.] That increases. In quot., that increases speed, is quickened; cf. eche v. 3 b.
