eastmost, a.|ˈiːstməst, -məʊst| Also 6 Sc. eistmest. [OE. had éastmest adj., superl. f. east adv. + -m-, -st, suffixes (see -most); but continuity is not proved, and the word was prob. formed afresh at a later period.] That is most easterly in position. Now poet.; see easternmost.
