drosophyllum Bot.|drəʊsəˈfɪləm| [mod.L. (H. F. Link 1806, in Neues Jrnl. f. d. Botanik I. ii. 51), f. Gr. δρόσος dew + ϕύλλον leaf.] An insectivorous plant of the genus of plants so named, belonging to the family Droseraceæ and consisting of a single species, Drosophyllum lusitanicum, found in southern Spain, Portugal, and north Africa.
