drosera Bot.|ˈdrɒsərə| [mod.L. (Linnæus Systema Naturæ (1735)), f. Gr. δροσερός dewy.] An insectivorous herb of the genus so called, = sundew; also, the dried and powdered plant, formerly used as a remedy for respiratory diseases.
